Curriculum Overview
The Little Charms PreSchool aims at offering all our students a broad and balanced curriculum that provides rewarding and stimulating activities to prepare them for the best social and cultural life.
Play Group
Children start to explore the world around them as soon as they are born. At Little Charms, the play group curriculum enables children to continue their exploration. Early experiences in the first few years of life are critical for acquisition of skills as maximum brain development happens during this period.
Nursery
In Nursery, children are engaged in school readiness activities such as reading, writing, counting, number recognition and problem solving in a fun filled but purposeful manner. Children are encouraged to corroborate their learning through collaborative activities in the areas of dramatics, science and arts.
Junior KG
The transition from preschool to primary school is a crucial time of change for both children as well as their parents. At Little Charms, the Kindergarten (K.G.) curriculum ensures smooth transition to formal schooling with meaningful and progressive learning experiences.
Senior KG
Age-appropriate activities which prepare a child for success in formal school; various other activities are conducted in the areas of language, numbers, general knowledge, music, art in a planned manner throughout the program.
DayCare
Toddlers will find the teachers who believe in them and give them the freedom to be themselves, try something new, and make new friends. Health and safety have always been our top priority because knowing your child is safe means you can feel sound.
Buddy Program
Our Buddy program encourages child-to-child learning, with a view of inculcating the feeling of nurturing and empathy, among the older children.
Our Co-curricular Activities
Indoor Games
Snakes and Ladders, Ludo, carom board, Scrabble, etc help the kids for strategies, exercise kids brain power and develop teamwork.
Outdoor Games
Outdoor Games like Hide and Seek, Capture the Flag, Traffic Cop, Four Square, Hopscotch etc gives them an opportunity to learn new things, in their physical development, boost their creativity, help them acquire social skills, develop a positive attitude, helps in in personality development
Play Ground Games
This activities helps to Improve flexibility and balance. Development of overall motor skills, dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Opportunities to learn how to control their movement. Improved instincts. Promotion of healthy heart and lung function. Stronger muscles.
